In this message, the King says He had learned with great emotion and profound sorrow of the passing of Ahmed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, may God accept him among His virtuous servants.
“Faced with this painful ordeal, divine will being unstoppable, I wish to express to Your Highness, and through you to the relatives and family of the deceased and to the brotherly Emirati people, My heartfelt condolences and sincere feelings of sympathy and compassion, praying to the Almighty to grant you patience and solace,” the Sovereign says.
The King implores God to surround the deceased with His holy mercy, welcome him into His vast Paradise, and amply reward him for the commendable services he rendered to his homeland and nation, as well as for the good deeds he accomplished.
“While sharing your grief, I implore the Most-High to preserve you and bestow upon you the blessings of health and tranquility,” the Sovereign says, expressing His esteem and consideration for His brother, Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyane.
