The Bouregreg Valley hosted a military parachuting demonstration organized by the Royal Armed Forces (FAR) on Thursday as part of celebrations marking the 27th anniversary of King Mohammed VI’s accession to the throne.
Hundreds of spectators gathered along both banks of the Bouregreg River, between Rabat and Salé, to watch the aerial display, which featured precision jumps, freefalls and acrobatic maneuvers performed by military parachutists.
The demonstration took place near the Bouregreg Marina in Salé and the Rabat waterfront. The jumps were carried out by members of the National Military Parachuting Team and the 1st Parachute Infantry Brigade.
The team, made up of both men and women, showcased precision and technical expertise, highlighting the operational capabilities of the Royal Armed Forces’ parachute units.
According to the Royal Armed Forces, a similar demonstration is also scheduled to take place later on Thursday in the M’diq region.
