Anass Salah-Eddine is nearing a move to Olympiacos this summer. The Moroccan left-back is expected to sign his contract in the coming days, following advanced talks with the Greek giants. This will occur after the club’s match against NEC Nijmegen and the completion of Francisco Ortega’s transfer to River Plate.

According to information obtained by Le360 Sport, Salah-Eddine’s signing is anticipated to be finalized within the next few days. Olympiacos is prioritizing the transfer of left-back Francisco Ortega to River Plate before officially bringing in the Moroccan defender.

Negotiations between all parties have progressed significantly in recent days. Our source indicates that the 24-year-old Morocco international has also engaged in discussions with compatriot Ayoub El Kaabi and Olympiacos head coach José Luis Mendilibar.

During these conversations, El Kaabi and Mendilibar presented the club’s sporting project and outlined its ambitions for the upcoming seasons. These discussions are understood to have convinced Salah-Eddine to approve the move and join the Greek side.

However, the transfer is not expected to be officially announced immediately. Our source reports that the player will need to wait a few more days while Olympiacos plays their first-leg match against NEC Nijmegen in the third qualifying round of the UEFA Champions League.

Salah-Eddine joined PSV Eindhoven on August 31, 2025. He made 25 appearances for the Dutch club, contributing to their 27th Eredivisie title earlier this year.
