Two-time reigning European champions PSG won the UEFA Super Cup for the second consecutive year by beating English side Aston Villa 2-1 on Wednesday evening in Salzburg.
Achraf Hakimi and his PSG teammates scored through Khvicha Kvaratskhelia in the 20th minute and Désiré Doué, who appeared to be marginally offside, in the 61st. Brian Madjo equalized for Villa in the 45th minute after the English side, winners of the Europa League, fell behind.
PSG had already won the UEFA Super Cup last season, overcoming another Premier League club, Tottenham, on penalties.
