According to The Athletic, Manchester City’s hierarchy is expected to make a move in the coming days to sign the Moroccan midfielder, who currently plays for Lille.
The 18-year-old had already drawn interest from several top clubs before the 2026 World Cup, but his first tournament with Morocco appears to have further boosted his market value. Bouaddi enjoyed an impressive debut on the international stage, particularly standing out with a commanding display in the opening 1-1 draw against Brazil.

Arsenal and Manchester United are also among the English clubs monitoring the teenager, but City’s interest is said to be especially strong. “PSG are not considered contenders for his signature,” The Athletic reports.
The outlet adds that, should Bouaddi join Manchester City, the plan would be to integrate him directly into the squad rather than send him back to northern France on loan.
