Paris Saint-Germain are exploring their options ahead of the January transfer window as they look to cope with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia’s expected lengthy absence. According to Spanish outlet Sport, Moroccan international Abde Ezzalzouli is among the players on the Paris club’s radar.
Barcelona are also watching developments closely according to the same source. The Catalan club, where Ezzalzouli spent part of his development, is entitled to 20% of any future transfer fee for the Real Betis winger.
PSG are looking for a replacement without making a major investment, but their crowded schedule has increased the need to reinforce the squad. Kvaratskhelia’s anterior cruciate ligament injury in his right knee has prompted the club to assess possible alternatives before the winter window opens.

Betis, however, would likely demand a substantial fee to let Ezzalzouli leave. Last summer, the Spanish club set an asking price of €55 million, while the winger’s release clause stands at €60 million. Aston Villa and Newcastle had also considered signing him at the time.
Ezzalzouli joined Betis from Barcelona in September 2023 for €7.5 million. He enjoyed a productive 2024-25 season, recording 15 goals and 13 assists in 43 appearances. He has scored four goals in nine appearances so far this season and remains under contract until June 2029, Sport reports.
