West Ham are interested in signing Morocco international Imran Louza, with the English club reportedly keen to bring in the Watford captain before the end of the summer transfer window.
According to English media reports, the Hammers have identified Louza as a potential addition to their midfield.
West Ham could lose Soungoutou Magassa and Edson Alvarez and are short of experienced options in midfield. Louza’s profile is therefore seen as particularly attractive by the London club.
West Ham are competing with Southampton for the Atlas Lion and are looking to move quickly, with his creativity also viewed as an asset.
Louza has made 111 appearances in the English second tier and has extensive experience of the Championship. He was also among Watford’s most productive players last season, scoring seven goals and providing nine assists in 42 appearances.
The Moroccan is under contract with Watford until June 2028. His current estimated market value stands at €14 million, according to Transfermarkt.
