Jannik Sinner vs. Jan-Lennard Struff (1:00 p.m./ Court N°1)
Defending champion Jannik Sinner takes on Germany’s Jan-Lennard Struff for a place in the Wimbledon semifinals.
After being pushed to five sets by Miomir Kecmanović (4-6, 6-3, 6-7, 6-2, 6-3) in the opening round, Sinner has looked increasingly dominant, cruising through each of his next three matches in straight sets. The world No. 1 enters the contest as the clear favorite to reach his second Grand Slam semifinal of the year.
Still searching for his first major title of 2026, Sinner will be eager to put the disappointment of his Roland Garros campaign behind him and keep his Wimbledon title defense on track, especially with his biggest rival Carlos Alcaraz absent due to injury.
Struff, meanwhile, has enjoyed an impressive run at the All England Club. The German spent plenty of time on court early in the tournament, surviving five-set battles against Sebastián Báez in the first round and Brandon Nakashima in the second. He then produced one of the biggest upsets of the tournament by defeating Daniil Medvedev in straight sets (7-6, 7-6, 7-5) before backing it up with a fourth-round victory over Hubert Hurkacz.
However, this is his toughest challenge yet. Facing the world No. 1 after several physically demanding matches, Struff will need another outstanding performance if he is to pull off another upset.
Novak Djokovic vs. Felix Auger-Aliassime (3:30 p.m./ Center Court)
In the most anticipated match of the day, world No. 8 Novak Djokovic faces world No. 4 Felix Auger-Aliassime
The 24-time Grand Slam champion and seven-time Wimbledon winner has looked in complete control throughout the tournament, advancing through the draw with little trouble. His run has included a statement victory over former world No. 3 Stefanos Tsitsipas.
Djokovic also reached a major milestone at this year’s Championships, recording his 106th Wimbledon match win to become the tournament’s all-time leader in victories, surpassing Roger Federer’s previous record of 105. He will now aim to reach a second consecutive Wimbledon semifinal as he continues his pursuit of a record-extending 25th Grand Slam title.
Standing in his way is Canada’s Felix Auger-Aliassime, who has rediscovered his best form after a couple of difficult seasons. The 25-year-old is through to his second Wimbledon quarterfinal after coming through his opening three matches comfortably before overcoming Spain’s Alejandro Davidovich Fokina in an entertaining five-set fourth-round contest (6-7, 7-6, 6-3, 6-7, 6-1).
Although Auger-Aliassime enters the match relatively fresh, he now faces a far greater challenge. Djokovic has repeatedly shown why he is one of the greatest grass-court players in history, and the Serbian will once again be favored. Auger-Aliassime, however, will be hoping to produce the biggest upset of the tournament and book a place in the third Grand Slam semifinal of his career.
