Ahead of Morocco’s 2026 legislative elections, the Istiqlal Party has unveiled its first list of 70 candidates spanning 10 regions across the Kingdom. The slate features several members of the current government, including party Secretary-General and Minister of Equipment and Water Nizar Baraka, who will contest a seat in Larache.
