The Moroccan Cultural Week will showcase various aspects of Morocco’s tangible and intangible heritage, highlighting the diverse sources of Moroccan identity and the arts, traditions, crafts and products found across the Kingdom that reflect the richness of the country’s heritage.

The association also views culture as a means of communication and rapprochement between peoples, rather than simply as a cultural heritage.
It noted that Moroccan arts, traditional crafts and heritage can provide areas for cooperation and exchange between Morocco and friendly countries.
The event’s program aims to present an image of Morocco built around the values of tolerance, coexistence, openness and respect for cultural diversity, while giving Azerbaijani and international audiences an opportunity to discover aspects of Moroccan culture and its artistic and artisanal heritage.
The event will also focus on Moroccan artists, creators and artisans by providing them with a space to display their work and showcase their creations outside Morocco. This will allow them to expand their connections with institutions, industry players and audiences from different cultural backgrounds, while opening new opportunities for cooperation and exchange.
According to the statement, the association also seeks to use the initiative to promote Morocco as a tourism and investment destination by showcasing its cultural and historical assets, its products, and the skills of its artisans and creators, while highlighting traditional crafts as a sector that combines cultural, economic and development dimensions.
Several institutions and organizations are involved in organizing Moroccan Cultural Week in Baku, including the Moroccan Agency for Investment and Export Development (AMDIE), the Caisse de Dépôt et de Gestion (CDG), Maison de l’Artisan, the State Secretariat in charge of Traditional Crafts and Social and Solidarity Economy, and the Moroccan National Tourist Office.
The event is part of efforts to expand the presence of Moroccan culture internationally and use art, heritage and traditional crafts to showcase Morocco and the diversity of its cultural influences, while creating new opportunities for Moroccan artists and artisans to engage with the international cultural community.
