Cristiano Ronaldo is set to executive produce and appear in a new scripted television drama titled Day 1s, according to a report published by The Sun on Monday, July 27.
The series, based on an original idea by football agent Darren Dein, will follow the story of fictional British football agent Stanley Dalton, played by actor Damian Lewis.
According to The Sun, Ronaldo will serve as an executive producer and make an appearance in the series alongside former France striker Thierry Henry and British musician Dave. The show is said to explore the world of football agencies and player representation, drawing on themes similar to those featured in the Brazilian series The Playoffs.
Day 1s will be the first television production released by UR-Marv Studios, a joint venture between Ronaldo and filmmaker Matthew Vaughn, whose directing and producing credits include Kingsman, X-Men: First Class, and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels.
Filming is reportedly already underway in London, with independent financing provided by UR-Marv Studios.
Neither Ronaldo nor his representatives have publicly confirmed the project, and no official announcement has been made regarding the reported series.
