The official lineup for Tremplin L’Boulevard 2026 has been unveiled. From Sept. 17 to 20, the RUC Stadium in Casablanca will host the competition, bringing together 15 emerging artists and bands selected in three categories: seven in rap/hip-hop, four in rock/metal, and four in fusion/other contemporary music.
They will perform live before the public and a jury of music professionals.
Since its launch in 1999, Tremplin L’Boulevard has established itself as a key platform for Morocco’s contemporary music scene, giving emerging artists the opportunity to perform live, receive feedback from industry professionals, and take an important step in their careers.
This year’s applications came from across the kingdom, including Rabat, Boumalne Dadès, Kenitra, Zagora, Khouribga, Oujda, Marrakech, Salé, Berkane, Guelmim, Errachidia, Agadir and Es-Smara.
While not every applicant secured a place in the competition, the organizers said the submissions reflect the vitality of Morocco’s music scene, with artists across the country continuing to write, record, and experiment with new sounds.
Rap and hip-hop once again accounted for the largest share of applications. According to the organizers, both the number of submissions and the diversity of styles demonstrate the genre’s central place within Morocco’s contemporary music landscape.
Performances will take place over three nights: rap/hip-hop on Sept. 17, fusion and other contemporary music on Sept. 18, and rock/metal on Sept. 19. The awards ceremony is scheduled for Sept. 20.
First- and second-place winners will also take part in a week-long training program from Sept. 21 to 27 and will have the opportunity to record a track at Studio HIBA.
