On September 24, 2025, King Mohammed VI launched construction of Casa-Sud in Hay Hassani as part of the major railway program for Greater Casablanca. One year after the royal launch, work on the future station is continuing on site in line with the schedule announced by Morocco’s National Railways Office (ONCF).
The station is presented as an international urban mobility hub. Its main building will cover 22,000 square meters, while the project also includes a 30,000-square-meter parking area with around 1,000 spaces and 38,000 square meters of outdoor facilities.
The future station will have six platforms and 10 railway tracks. It will serve the various rail services planned for the southern part of the metropolitan area, including Al Boraq high-speed trains, long-distance trains, regional trains and local services.

A multimodal transport hub
A central feature of the project is its multimodal design. Casa-Sud will be connected to the road network, tramway, Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system, buses and taxis, with the aim of making transfers between different modes of transport easier.
The station is therefore designed to allow passengers to switch between trains and urban public transport, turning the facility into a major interchange hub in southern Casablanca.

Casa-Sud represents an investment of 1.3 billion dirhams, including 950 million dirhams allocated to construction work.
The future station is part of the railway program for Greater Casablanca launched by King Mohammed VI in September 2025. The program includes three major next-generation stations: Casa-Sud, Mohammed V Airport station and the Grand Stade Hassan II station. Each of the three projects is scheduled to be completed within 24 months.
