Exchange Office publishes 2025 annual report, highlights governance and modernization drive

Morocco’s Exchange Office has published its 2025 Annual Management Report and financial statements, outlining a year marked by regulatory reforms, the launch of its 2025-2029 strategy, the release of the 2026 General Instruction on Foreign Exchange Operations, and continued progress in digital transformation and institutional governance.

In line with its commitment to transparency and good governance, Morocco’s Exchange Office has announced the publication of its 2025 Annual Management Report.

The report outlines the institution’s main achievements during 2025 and reviews its performance across its core areas of activity. These include regulating and monitoring foreign exchange operations, combating money laundering and terrorist financing, producing foreign trade statistics, modernizing institutional operations, and continuously improving services provided to users.

Among the year’s key milestones was the launch of the Exchange Office’s 2025-2029 strategic plan, which sets out the institution’s priorities for the coming years. In partnership with the United Nations, the Office also hosted a meeting of the Task Force on International Trade Statistics, reinforcing its position as a leading institution in the field.

Another major development was the publication of the 2026 General Instruction on Foreign Exchange Operations (IGOC), described as a significant step toward modernizing Morocco’s foreign exchange regulatory framework and adapting it to evolving economic conditions.

The report also highlights progress in digital transformation, governance, human capital development, and institutional communication. In addition, it includes the institution’s 2025 financial statements, along with key information on procurement management and public contracts awarded during the year.
