After completing the previous challenges in Spain, the contestants traveled to Morocco, with Marrakech as their next destination. Against the backdrop of the ochre city and its surrounding region, the remaining duos faced challenges testing their physical endurance, memory and strategic skills.

This week’s individual challenge, known as The Roadblock, required contestants to enter a courtyard filled with pottery and identify damaged clay jugs among the many vessels. Once found, the jugs had to be smashed to reveal their secret, with each containing a hidden message.

Finding the envelope did not necessarily mean the challenge was over. Some contestants were met with the message “Try again,” while those who successfully completed the challenge received an advantage known as “Roadside Assistance.” This benefit could be used during the second challenge, allowing a contestant to call on their teammate for help with the assigned task.

In the next stage, known as the Detour, participants had to choose between two options, “Walk” or “Talk.” The first required physical strength, with contestants rolling tires filled with alfalfa to a designated location so that camels could feed.

The second tested their memory. Contestants drove buggies into the desert and had to memorize fragmented information displayed on roadside signs. They then had to piece together the name of a tea and recite it without making a mistake before continuing the race.

Another challenge available to the teams involved recreating a typical fruit stall from a Moroccan market.

Known in French as Le Rallye autour du monde, the show features teams of two or four people racing around the world. Throughout the competition, contestants travel through numerous countries using every means of transportation imaginable, including planes, helicopters, trains, buses, trucks, taxis, rental cars, boats and bicycles, as well as traveling on foot.

At each stage, clues point them toward their next destination or assign them a challenge to complete alone or with their teammate, often drawing on the culture of the country they are visiting. Teams are eliminated as the race progresses until only three remain for the final. The first team to cross the finish line wins the $1 million grand prize.
