The first edition of CGC Morocco 2026, an international event dedicated to smartphone repair, will be held in Casablanca on September 9 and 10. The event will gather technicians and professionals for competitions, training, and the exchange of expertise.
The initiative was announced on Saturday, September 5, at a press conference held at the Casablanca-Settat Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services. Attendees included Hassan Berkani, President of the Chamber; Ridouane Idrissi, President of the Regional Professional Association for Machinery and Engine Repair and President of CGC Morocco; and Wyman Lau, founder of CGC World, who traveled from China with his team.
CGC Morocco 2026 is a partnership between the Casablanca-Settat Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Services and the Regional Professional Association for Machinery and Engine Repair. Organizers state that the partnership aims to support technical and craft professions and promote specialized repair and maintenance skills.
The event also seeks to enhance professional skills through training and mentorship, while assisting young technicians in entering the job market and developing their own businesses, particularly through self-employment.
Moroccan-Chinese cooperation on repair technology
