The landscaping of the Mohammed VI Tower’s forecourt marks the final stage of the landmark architectural project, whose construction began on Nov. 1, 2018.
The new green spaces are organized around gardens featuring ornamental plants and include relaxation areas equipped with benches. From these viewpoints, visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the Bouregreg Valley, which has been redeveloped as part of a large-scale development program carried out under royal instructions.
Flowing through the valley that bears its name, the Bouregreg River brings a touch of coolness to an area that has become one of the Kingdom’s most notable settings.
Several visitors interviewed by Le360 expressed their admiration for the site. A couple from Meknes praised the quality of the landscaping, thanked the authorities for the project, and said they hoped to see similar developments in other cities across the Kingdom.

The Mohammed VI Tower is a 250-meter-tall mixed-use skyscraper with 55 floors, built in Salé at the entrance to Rabat.
The building houses office space, high-end residences, and the Waldorf Astoria hotel. Its southern façade is equipped with photovoltaic panels that contribute to its energy performance. Its construction required an investment of approximately 6.5 billion dirhams.
