The Moroccan delegation is led by Amine Benomar, a member of the Party of Progress and Socialism (PPS). Held under the auspices of China’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the forum brings together representatives from African countries to promote dialogue and cooperation and strengthen ties of friendship between Chinese and African youth.

On the sidelines of the forum, Benomar held talks with representatives of friendly African countries, as well as with Chinese officials organizing the event.

The discussions focused on ways to strengthen cooperation, share experience and expertise, and explore new partnership opportunities. The aim is to help develop Morocco’s relations with its partners and foster friendship and understanding between peoples.

Morocco’s participation reflects efforts to strengthen youth diplomacy and give young professionals greater international experience. According to the organizers, the forum is being held during 2026, which has been designated the Year of China-Africa People-to-People Exchanges.

This edition aims in particular to “promote direct exchanges, mutual understanding and friendship between young people in China and young leaders from different African countries.”
