Lille midfielder Ayyoub Bouaddi has been called up for the club’s trip to Angers on Sunday for the opening day of the Ligue 1 season, despite ongoing negotiations over a potential transfer to Manchester City.
Lille coach Davide Ancelotti confirmed Bouaddi’s inclusion in the squad during his pre-match press conference.

Journalist Matteo Moretto reported that negotiations will resume after the match, but the two sides remain apart on Lille’s asking price.
According to Moretto, Lille are demanding more than €100 million for Bouaddi, prompting Manchester City to continue negotiating the transfer fee.
