Raja Casablanca continued its sporting department shake-up on Tuesday, November 3, announcing the mutual termination of the contracts of first-team sporting director Rogério Matias and his assistant, a day after Spanish coach Paco Jémez left the club.
The decision followed a meeting with the club’s management, which resulted in an amicable agreement between both parties.
“Following a meeting held today with the sporting department, a mutual agreement was reached to terminate the contractual relationship between the club and the first-team sporting director and his assistant,” the club said.

The decision comes one day after Jémez’s departure. His contract was terminated after just two months in charge of the Casablanca club, with management deeming the team’s results insufficient.
Matias and his assistant are thus leaving their posts less than four months after their appointments to Raja’s sporting department were announced on July 14.
