The 2025 CAF Women’s Player of the Year has earned another nomination for the prestigious FIFPRO team, after also making the shortlist last year.

The international union representing professional footballers has announced the 26 nominees. Chebbak is joined by some of the biggest names in women’s football, including two-time Ballon d’Or winner Alexia Putellas and fellow Spanish star Aitana Bonmatí.

The annual award is based entirely on votes from professional players. For the 2026 edition, 6,511 professional women footballers from around the world took part in the voting.

Morocco also has a nominee in the men’s category, with Achraf Hakimi among the 26 players shortlisted for the 2026 FIFPRO Men’s World 11.

The final FIFPRO Women’s World 11 will be announced on November 9, 2026, at a ceremony bringing together some of the biggest stars in world football.
