Former Morocco international Adil Ramzi has been promoted to the Netherlands men’s national team coaching staff, moving up from his role with the Dutch Under-19 side.
Ramzi will serve as an assistant coach under new Netherlands head coach Xavi Hernández, alongside Ruud van Nistelrooij, Sergio Alegre and Óscar Hernández. The KNVB confirmed the coaching staff on Saturday, August 22.

The appointment marks another step in Ramzi’s progression within Dutch football. He joined the Royal Dutch Football Association in 2024 as coach of the Netherlands Under-18s before moving up with the same group to the Under-19s a year later. He also led a workshop for Dutch youth coaches earlier this year while serving as the Under-19 coach.
Ramzi had previously built his coaching career at PSV, where he worked as an assistant with the first team and managed Jong PSV. Before moving into coaching, he had a long playing career in the Netherlands and represented clubs including PSV, AZ Alkmaar and FC Twente.
