Moroccan champions Maghreb de Fès (MAS) announced on Tuesday, July 14, that Spanish coach Pablo Franco will leave the club following the end of the 2025-26 season.
The announcement comes less than 24 hours after MAS confirmed the departure of sporting director Badr Kadouri, as the club embarks on the second phase of its restructuring and modernization project.
In an official statement, the Fassi side paid tribute to Franco, saying that he would “forever remain engraved in the history of the club” after guiding MAS to a title-winning campaign that will be remembered by the entire club family.
The Spaniard guided the club to their first Botola Pro title in 41 years, ending a decades-long wait and getting MAS back to the top of Moroccan football.
The club also thanked Franco for his professionalism, commitment and dedication during his time in charge and wished him success in the next stage of his coaching career.
Franco’s departure is the latest change at the club following the exit of Kadouri on Monday, with MAS preparing for a new chapter after one of the most successful seasons in its recent history.
