The Morocco national team are continuing preparations for Sunday’s friendly against Mali as part of the squad’s preparations, following a change to the friendly schedule that saw the previously planned meeting with Ghana cancelled.
The national team held another training session on Thursday evening at the Mohammed VI Football Complex, with the technical staff focusing on physical and tactical work as the players build toward the required level of readiness for the match.
The Morocco delegation is scheduled to travel to Tangier on Friday, where the Atlas Lions will continue their preparations in the city ahead of the highly anticipated meeting at the Grand Stadium of Tangier.
The match is part of Morocco’s preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations, with the technical staff continuing to use friendly matches to test different tactical options and assess the readiness of the national team players.

Morocco had initially been scheduled to face Ghana, but the match could not go ahead because of a financial dispute involving outstanding payments owed to Ghana’s national team players. The fixture was subsequently replaced by a meeting with Mali.
Morocco will face Mali in a friendly on Sunday, October 4, at the Grand Stadium of Tangier, with kickoff set for 18:00. The match will provide another test for the national team ahead of their upcoming official commitments.
