Morocco’s U20 national team will face Algeria on Wednesday, September 30, at 1:30 p.m. at the Suez Canal Stadium in Egypt, in an important fixture of the UNAF U20 Tournament.
The Atlas Cubs will be looking for their first win of the competition after being exempt from the opening round and starting their campaign on Sunday with a goalless draw against Tunisia.
With one point from their only match so far, Morocco know that a victory over Algeria would strengthen their position in the race for qualification, with only the top two teams earning the UNAF zone’s places at the U20 Africa Cup of Nations finals.

Algeria, meanwhile, have already played twice. After drawing 1-1 with Tunisia in their opening match, the Algerian team beat Libya 3-1 to move top of the standings with four points.
Wednesday’s meeting will therefore be important for both sides, with Morocco looking to get their campaign fully underway and move closer to the top two, while Algeria will seek to maintain their position at the top.
The match will be broadcast live from 1:30 p.m. on Arryadia, the third channel of Morocco’s SNRT group.
Morocco will have two more matches to play after Wednesday’s encounter. They will face Egypt on Saturday, October 3, before concluding their campaign against Libya on Tuesday, October 6, at Ismailia Stadium.
