L’équipe reported that “after already spending last season on loan at Montpellier in Ligue 2, the 19-year-old Parisian defender will return to the club for the upcoming campaign.”
The move marks El Hannach’s second consecutive loan spell at Montpellier and provides the academy graduate with valuable continuity as he continues his development through regular playing time in one of Europe’s leading football nations.
“A second consecutive season in Ligue 2 can only benefit the Moroccan player, especially as PSG is keen to oversee his gradual development without permanently parting ways with one of its academy products,” the report added.
Regarded as one of the standout prospects in PSG’s youth ranks, El Hannach signed his first professional contract with the French champions in February 2025. Having joined the club’s academy in 2013, he featured in the UEFA Youth League and earned recognition in France’s U19 championship for his pace and versatility.
During the 2025–26 campaign, El Hannach made 23 appearances, including 19 in Ligue 2 with Montpellier.
At international level, the centre-back represented Morocco at the 2025 U20 Africa Cup of Nations, where the Young Atlas Lions finished as runners-up.
