Hakim Ziyech has called in a bailiff to formally document his situation at Wydad after being left out of the club’s pre-season camp in Agadir and assigned an individual training program in Casablanca.
The midfielder reported to the Mohamed Benjelloun Complex at the scheduled time on Tuesday accompanied by the bailiff, who recorded his presence and the conditions of the session.
No member of Wydad’s technical staff was reportedly present to supervise his training.

Ziyech had remained in Casablanca after being omitted from the squad travelling to Agadir. The club instead gave him an individual program that included sessions at the Mohamed Benjelloun Complex under the supervision of a physical trainer.
Having the circumstances formally recorded could provide Ziyech with documentation should the dispute later come before the relevant sporting bodies.
The move follows a turbulent few days between the former Chelsea player and Wydad president Ibrahim El Assri.
Ziyech had been due to feature in a friendly against Renaissance Club Athletic Zemamra at the Wellness Complex and was already in kit when the decision changed.
As he prepared to warm up, coach Paulo Sérgio Brito reportedly informed him that he would not play, following a decision by El Assri.
His subsequent omission from the Agadir camp prompted Ziyech to address the issue publicly. Commenting on an Instagram post about Wydad, he blamed El Assri for both decisions.
Until then, Ziyech had continued to train with the squad despite questions over his future and had played in a preparation match against Ittihad Tanger.
The disagreement is also tied to his salary. Wydad’s new management considers his current terms too costly as it looks to reduce expenses and reshape the squad, while Ziyech is refusing to renegotiate the financial conditions agreed upon when he joined the club.
He wants to continue under his existing terms. Wydad’s new season begins on September 24.
