Morocco’s National Railways Office (ONCF) has released new footage of construction work on the future railway station serving the Hassan II Stadium in Benslimane, as part of its video series “Com par la preuve.”
The images offer a closer look at the scale of the project, designed to meet growing transport needs linked to the future sports complex and the urban development of the surrounding area.
According to figures released by the ONCF, the station building will cover 19,710 square meters, while its outdoor facilities will span 20 hectares. The infrastructure will include seven platforms, four tracks dedicated to high-speed trains and six for local services.
Beyond its size, the station is designed to meet two key needs. It will handle passenger flows generated by major events at the Hassan II Stadium while improving rail services to Benslimane and connections between the region’s urban centers.

The station is part of the rail development program for Greater Casablanca, which includes the construction of new stations and an expansion of network capacity.
In Benslimane, the project is also closely tied to the future Hassan II Stadium, which is planned to hold 115,000 spectators and become one of the country’s main sporting venues. Rail services are expected to play a major role in transporting spectators to major events, particularly in preparation for the 2030 World Cup.
