Passengers can now reach the departure lounge in just a few clicks. Airports of Morocco has introduced Pax Check, a new system designed to reflect changing travel habits, where smartphones have become the starting point of every journey. Booking, check-in and flight information are already handled online, and Pax Check extends that digital experience to the airport by integrating the boarding pass into a fully paperless process.
After checking in online through their airline’s app, travelers receive their boarding pass as a secure QR code. Document checks, carried out in advance by airlines in accordance with applicable regulations, allow passengers to move more smoothly through security checkpoints and automated gates without the need to present a printed boarding pass.

By simplifying each step of the airport journey, Pax Check reduces document handling, improves passenger flow through terminals and helps make the overall travel experience more comfortable. The new system maintains the highest safety and security standards while complying with both national and international regulations.
The rollout will be gradually extended to all airlines that have met the technical, operational and regulatory requirements necessary to integrate the system.
