Six self-service baggage-drop kiosks have been installed at Rabat-Salé Airport for Ryanair passengers, allowing travelers to check in their luggage without having to queue at a conventional baggage counter.
The machines, installed in Terminal 2, are part of a wider rollout by Airports of Morocco following the introduction of the same facility for Royal Air Maroc passengers at Casablanca’s Mohammed V Airport.
Under the system, passengers who have completed check-in can drop off their hold luggage themselves by following instructions on the automated machines.

Airports of Morocco estimates that the facility could cut the time spent on baggage-drop procedures by 50 to 75pc.
The airport operator plans to introduce the system progressively at other airports across the country, although no timetable for the remaining installations has been announced.
According to Airports of Morocco, the airports covered by the rollout account for nearly two-thirds of passenger traffic nationwide.
The baggage-drop machines are being introduced alongside other changes to airport procedures, including wider use of mobile boarding passes and the Pax Check system, which is intended to streamline passenger checks.
