The deadline for submitting candidate declarations for the September 23 elections to the House of Representatives via the dedicated electronic platform is Tuesday, September 8, 2026, at noon, the Interior Minister announced in a statement.
The minister also reiterated that the deadline for submitting original physical candidate files to the authority responsible for receiving candidacies is Wednesday, September 9, at noon.
Submitting candidate declarations through the electronic platform is a mandatory prerequisite for list representatives to submit the original physical candidate files to the competent authority.
The statement further noted that the electoral campaign for these elections will commence at the start of Thursday, September 10, and conclude at midnight on Tuesday, September 22.
