The Mohammed VI Foundation for Social Welfare of National Police Employees announced the opening of registration for the 2026 summer camps, organized under the theme “National Police Camps: A Space for Promoting the Values of Solidarity and True Citizenship.” These camps are specifically for children and orphans from national police families.
The program will run until August 28, 2026, at summer camps located in Agadir, Bouznika, Tetouan, and Ifrane. A total of 3,906 children and orphans of national police employees are expected to benefit from the program, which is open to children aged 9 to 14 and adolescents aged 14 to 16.
At the heart of this educational facility is a broad approach that extends beyond the traditional concept of a summer camp. Boubker El Briki, director of the Bouznika National Police Camp for Children, stated that the program is based on educational and awareness activities designed to develop young participants’ social and cultural awareness.
Police officers from school-based awareness units lead interactive workshops aimed at fostering a sense of responsibility among children and adolescents.
According to an official, the initiative also extends beyond traditional awareness activities, incorporating modern technology and personal development.
The camp hosts discussion sessions led by national police experts and specialized speakers, covering topics such as artificial intelligence and personal development. The program also includes theatrical performances, intellectual workshops, and sessions dedicated to teaching the rules of writing, reciting, and correctly chanting verses from the Quran.
Practical activities also play a major role in enriching the participants’ knowledge. Children and adolescents have the opportunity to take educational visits to the National Police Museum and the modern facilities at the new headquarters of the General Directorate of National Police.
Field visits also include the Royal Police Institute and the Higher Institute of Police Sciences in Ifrane, as well as visits to police departments, public institutions, and art and visual arts exhibitions. These excursions provide participants with an opportunity to gain a closer understanding of police work.
To ensure the initiative’s success, the foundation, in coordination with the central directorates responsible for equipment, budget, and human resources, has deployed extensive logistical and human resources.
Specialized educational and medical staff have been assigned across the facilities to provide a safe environment that combines recreation and learning, while meeting high standards for accommodation and activities.
