In a press release, the Moroccan Pension Fund said that, “as part of ongoing efforts to reform public administration, simplify administrative procedures and accelerate the digital transformation of public services, the Head of Government has issued Circular No. 8/2026 on simplifying procedures for managing pension files handled by the fund.”

The institution noted that the new circular strengthens the provisions of Circular No. 7/2019, which introduced the electronic management of pension applications, and represents an important step in the continuous improvement of services provided to contributors, pensioners and eligible beneficiaries.

According to the statement, these advances are the result of close cooperation between the Moroccan Pension Fund and the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, as part of broader efforts to modernize public administration and implement national policies aimed at simplifying administrative procedures and digitizing public services.

The measures are also fully aligned with the fund’s digital transformation strategy and its 2025-2027 strategic action plan, both of which place user experience, the digitization of procedures and operational efficiency at the center of the institution’s priorities.

The newly introduced measures are designed to reduce the number of documents required for certain pension applications and survivors’ benefits by making better use of data already available to the relevant government bodies and by strengthening the electronic exchange of information.

They are also expected to simplify procedures for future retirees and their beneficiaries, reduce the need for in-person visits, accelerate file processing and improve the overall quality of services provided.

The Moroccan Pension Fund is currently working with partner institutions and government agencies to ensure the gradual implementation of these measures.

The statement concluded by reaffirming the fund’s commitment to continuing to improve its services so that they become simpler, more accessible and more responsive to the needs and expectations of users.
