Morocco take on Egypt this Monday, October 19, in one of the headline clashes of the 2026 Africa Futsal Cup of Nations semifinals. Kick-off is scheduled for 20:00 at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex indoor hall in Rabat.
Group A winners with nine points, the Moroccan national futsal team head into the match on the back of three wins without conceding a goal. Idriss Raiss El Fenni and his teammates beat Algeria 4-0, Zambia 7-0 and Libya 6-0.
Hicham Dguig’s men scored 17 goals and conceded none in the group stage, underlining the national team’s ambitions in a tournament being held on home soil.
Their opponents finished second in Group B with six points. Egypt opened with an 8-0 win over Tanzania and a 4-0 victory against Mozambique before losing 4-2 to Angola on Saturday in their final group match.
The Atlas Lions will look to maintain their winning run and move one step closer to a fourth continental title. However, Egypt’s experience in major African competitions means the semifinal is expected to pose a tougher challenge than the national team’s three group-stage matches.
The other semifinal will see Group B winners Angola face Group A runners-up Algeria.
The match Kicks-off is at 20:00 (Moroccan time) and will be broadcast live on Arryadia TNT and the Confederation of African Football’s official YouTube channel, CAF TV, which is streaming the entire tournament.
The two semifinal winners will meet in the final on Wednesday, October 21, at 20:00.
