Moroccan winger Yassine Gessime was named RC Strasbourg’s best player for August on Saturday, September 5, after receiving the most votes from the club’s supporters.
Gessime made a strong impression in Strasbourg’s match against Lens, scoring twice to help his team secure all three points.
The No. 80 was also named man of the match after the game.
A popular figure among Strasbourg supporters, Gessime won the vote by a wide margin with 58.60% of the votes. Goalkeeper Filip Jörgensen finished second with 26.49%, while Sebastian Nanasi came third with 7.19%.
