Morocco’s General Directorate of National Security (DGSN) has begun deploying its first AI-powered smart patrol vehicles, “Amane” and “Madar,” marking a major step in the modernization of policing. Designed entirely by Moroccan engineers and equipped with 360-degree cameras, facial recognition technology and real-time connectivity, the new patrol units are expected to strengthen public safety ahead of major international events, including the 2030 FIFA World Cup.
