Morocco is taking part in Bijorhca Paris, a leading international trade fair for jewelry, fine jewelry, watches and luxury accessories.

The Kingdom is represented by Maison de l’Artisan, which has set up a pavilion dedicated to Moroccan craftsmanship in the jewelry and fine jewelry sector. The participation is part of its efforts to promote and develop exports of Moroccan handicraft products, particularly in high-potential markets.

Inaugurated by Morocco’s Consul General in Paris, Habiba Zemmouri, and Maison de l’Artisan Director General Tarik Sadik, the pavilion brings together 10 selected Moroccan exhibitors. They are showcasing their creations while highlighting the richness, authenticity and diversity of traditional Moroccan jewelry craftsmanship.

The participation in the European market aims to raise the international profile of Moroccan jewelry, create and diversify B2B business opportunities with buyers and industry professionals and showcase Morocco’s cultural heritage and craftsmanship in the luxury and high-end segments.

Speaking to MAP, Sadik welcomed Morocco’s participation in the internationally recognized trade fair, saying it is part of Maison de l’Artisan’s strategy to promote Moroccan handicrafts internationally, particularly through participation in professional trade fairs.

“This is about continuing efforts to strengthen the international profile of Moroccan handicrafts and increase the visibility of their products on global markets,” he said, highlighting the different branches of Moroccan jewelry represented at this edition, along with their regional characteristics and diverse influences.

According to Sadik, the event also provides an important opportunity for Moroccan artisans to connect with industry influencers, buyers and potential customers.

“Our participation has a twofold objective: first, to showcase Moroccan handicrafts and help strengthen their profile and, second, to create economic, business and development opportunities for Moroccan artisans,” he added.

Held twice a year in Paris, the major industry event brings together designers, manufacturers, brands, buyers and distributors from around the world. For this edition, the organizers expect more than 500 exhibitors representing nearly 180 brands, as well as around 38,000 professional visitors.
