Sidi Abou, in Taounate province, has reached 100% completion. The project cost 1.209 billion dirhams (MDH) and has a capacity of 200 million cubic meters (Mm³). Aït Ziat, in the Haouz region, has also reached 100% completion, with an investment of 1.942 billion dirhams and a capacity of 185 Mm³. It is scheduled to enter service in 2027.
Beni Azimane, located in Driouch province, is 98% complete. The project involves an investment of 1.482 billion dirhams and has a capacity of 44 Mm³. It is expected to be completed by the end of 2026. Oued Lakhdar, in Azilal, is 86% complete. Investment has reached 1.717 billion dirhams for a storage capacity of 150 Mm³. The work is scheduled for completion in 2027.

Work to raise the Mokhtar Soussi dam in Taroudant has reached 83.5% completion, with 1.640 billion dirhams invested and a capacity of 280 Mm³. The project is scheduled for completion in 2027. Targa Ou Madi, in Jerada, is 90% complete. The project has a total cost of 1.849 billion dirhams and a capacity of 287 Mm³, with completion scheduled for 2027.
Meanwhile, Boulaouane, in Chichaoua, is 81% complete. The project involves an investment of 1.356 billion dirhams and has a capacity of 66 Mm³. The work is scheduled for completion in 2027. Work to raise the Mohammed V dam in Taourirt province is 77% complete. The project has a budget of 1.548 billion dirhams and a storage capacity of 980 Mm³. It is scheduled to enter service in 2027.

Kheng Grou, in Figuig, is 78% complete. The dam involves an investment of 1.384 billion dirhams and has a capacity of 1,070 Mm³. It is scheduled for completion in 2027. Tamri, in Agadir province, remains the most expensive project in the group. Its budget stands at 3.272 billion dirhams for a capacity of 204 Mm³. Its completion rate stands at 39.5%, with delivery scheduled for 2029. The project has nevertheless gained 33 months compared with its initial construction timeline.

Ratba, in Taounate, is 55% complete. Total investment has reached 4.369 billion dirhams for a storage capacity of 1,900 Mm³, with completion scheduled for 2030. Ribat Khir, in Sefrou province, is 26% complete. The project involves an investment of 1.006 billion dirhams for a capacity of 124 Mm³. The work is scheduled for completion in 2029.

The Bou Ahmed dam in Chefchaouen is 1% complete. The project represents an investment of 3.001 billion dirhams and has a capacity of 95 Mm³. It is scheduled to enter service in 2030. Work to raise the Imfout dam remains at the launch stage. The project involves an investment of 1.003 billion dirhams for a capacity of 146 Mm³, with completion scheduled for 2031.

According to the ministry, nine major dams have been completed, with a combined capacity of 2 billion cubic meters. Kadoussa, Tidas, Toudgha, Agdez, Fask, M’dez, Koudiat Borna, Ghiss and Sakia El Hamra, where reconstruction work was carried out, make up this first group. The ministry has also begun the early filling of four additional reservoirs: Tamri in Agadir province, Aït Ziat in the Haouz region, Sidi Abou in Taounate province and Beni Azimane in Driouch province.
The ministry has scheduled the construction of 155 small dams between 2022 and 2027, with a total investment of 6.236 billion dirhams. Sixteen have already been completed and 15 others are under construction, including seven being developed in partnership between the ministries of Equipment and Water and the Interior. The ministry will launch 30 tenders before the end of 2026.
As for medium-sized dams, four projects remain under construction, representing 1.9 billion dirhams in investment. Aïn Qassab in Benslimane, Tassa Ouirgane in Haouz, Masalit in Tata and Sidi Yaacoub in Tiznit make up this second group. Tenders have been launched for Sidi Ammâr in Khénifra province and Falt in Figuig. The ministry will issue a tender for the Zendoula dam in Ouezzane province before the end of 2026.
