Six minors have been detained in Casablanca after a foreign national said he was pelted with stones by a group of children in the city center.
The case came to police attention after a video circulated on social media on Tuesday, September 1, showing the man recounting the alleged attack.
Investigations based on the footage led police to identify the minors suspected of involvement, according to a security source.
Six were subsequently detained by the Anfa judicial police, with five dogs described as aggressive breeds found in their possession.
The dogs were handed over to the relevant veterinary services.
The minors are being questioned by the juvenile unit of the Anfa judicial police under the supervision of the competent public prosecutor as investigators seek to establish the circumstances of the incident.
