Speaking to Le360, several holidaymakers expressed their delight at enjoying the summer atmosphere in Agadir, describing the coastline stretching from the city to Imsouane, north toward Essaouira, as one of Morocco’s most attractive destinations. Visitors highlighted the region’s diverse natural attractions, including beaches, mountains, waterfalls, springs and rivers.
Many said that traveling to the heart of the Souss-Massa region has become an annual tradition, offering an opportunity to relax and unwind away from the pressures of work and everyday life.
Visitors also pointed to Agadir Beach as an ideal destination for swimming and a wide range of beach activities, including football, beach volleyball, surfing, jet skiing and tennis.
At the same time, several holidaymakers called on visitors to help keep the beaches clean and preserve water quality to ensure a successful summer season. They stressed that protecting the environment is essential for public health and for maintaining the city’s reputation as a destination that welcomes thousands of tourists during the summer months. They also urged everyone to comply with the regulations in force.
Visitors also praised the strong presence of security patrols monitoring Agadir Beach, as well as local authorities, Civil Protection teams and lifeguards, who work to ensure public safety and contribute to the success of the summer season. They noted that visitor numbers are expected to increase even further in August.
