The city’s weekly markets, together with its affordable shops and modest restaurants, continue to attract families during the summer season, unlike some other coastal cities where prices are considerably higher. Martil is also a popular choice among members of the Moroccan diaspora, who often spend their summer holidays there with their extended families.
In Martil, Chefchaouen, and the villages stretching along the Mediterranean coast, from Azla and Amsa to Oued Laou and Jebha, families can enjoy seaside holidays at relatively low cost.
