The ONMT continues to advance its air connectivity strategy with the announcement of Ryanair’s unprecedented winter program in Morocco.

Beginning with the 2026 winter season, the Irish low-cost carrier will operate 156 routes, including 17 new services, providing a total capacity of 5.3 million seats. This program will link Morocco to 14 European markets, underscoring the Kingdom’s importance as a priority destination for the airline.

Beyond increasing seat capacity, the expanded program aims to bolster regional tourism by facilitating access for international visitors to various parts of the country and promoting a more equitable distribution of tourist traffic.

Several Moroccan destinations are poised to benefit directly from this network expansion. Rabat will see the addition of seven new routes, while Marrakech and Agadir will each gain five new services.

The enhanced operations across multiple Moroccan airports will also improve access to cities such as Fez, Tetouan, Essaouira, Ouarzazate, Dakhla, and Nador, thereby increasing their visibility among international travelers.

This development reflects the deepening partnership between the ONMT and Ryanair, united by a common goal: to enhance Morocco’s competitiveness as a destination and connect the Kingdom’s regions more closely with major European markets.

By expanding air links and diversifying entry points into the country, this initiative is expected to generate new opportunities for Morocco’s tourism sector.

Through its air connectivity strategy, the ONMT consistently works to improve the Kingdom’s accessibility by strengthening partnerships with both domestic and international airlines, expanding services to priority markets, and supporting tourism development across Morocco’s diverse regions.
