The arrest was carried out by the Agadir judicial police, acting on precise intelligence provided by the General Directorate for Territorial Surveillance (DGST). The suspect was apprehended in the Talborjt neighborhood.

A check of Interpol databases confirmed that the man was the subject of an international search requested by Swedish judicial authorities to enforce a prison sentence related to the alleged offenses.

Following instructions from the competent public prosecutor’s office, the suspect was placed under extradition procedures.

Morocco’s National Central Bureau of Interpol in Rabat, which operates under the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), was tasked with notifying its Swedish counterpart of the arrest as the extradition process moves forward.

The arrest reflects ongoing cooperation between Moroccan and international law enforcement agencies to locate people wanted across borders in connection with transnational crime.
