According to a statement from the Moroccan National Tourist Office, “the media meeting, which brought together representatives of news agencies, television channels, radio stations, general press outlets and media specializing in tourism and travel, provided an opportunity to highlight the office’s new priorities at a strategic stage that confirms France’s position as a key market for Moroccan tourism, while air connectivity between the two countries continues to expand.”
At this new stage, the Moroccan National Tourist Office “is working to turn the strong interest shown by the French in Morocco into additional tourist flows, while ensuring a better distribution of visitors across the Kingdom.”

To achieve this goal, “the office is pursuing an integrated strategy combining promotion and commercial marketing by strengthening partnerships with leading players and influencers in the French travel market, while also developing cooperation with airlines to help expand air capacity and make the Moroccan destination more accessible.”
Against this backdrop, the momentum in “air connectivity is one of the main pillars of this new phase. The 2026-2027 winter schedule will in particular feature a significant increase in direct flights between France and Morocco, with a major expansion of connectivity from French cities outside the capital.”
This development represents “a strategic choice for the Moroccan National Tourist Office, as it makes it possible to connect different regions of France directly with several regions of the Kingdom, broaden the pool of potential travelers and open up new opportunities for Morocco across the various French regions.”
In this regard, Achraf Fayda said: “Our goal is to be present where French travelers are. The opportunities are not limited to Paris and the major cities. Developing flights from French cities outside the capital opens up new opportunities for Morocco and for the various regions of the Kingdom.”
Another priority for the Moroccan National Tourist Office is “to move beyond an approach focused solely on the most popular destinations and showcase a diverse and multifaceted Morocco, rich in the variety of its regions and the authentic and diverse tourism experiences they offer.”
During his meeting with the French press, “Achraf Fayda highlighted the tourism assets of the Kingdom’s various regions and their ability to meet the new expectations of French travelers.”

At the heart of this new approach, “the tourism experience stands out as the guiding thread of the Moroccan National Tourist Office’s new promotional strategy, aimed at giving the French market additional reasons to choose Morocco, return to it and broaden their discovery of its different regions and destinations.”
As the opening of “IFTM Top Resa approaches, the Moroccan National Tourist Office is entering a new phase of intensified presence and strategic action in the French market, through an integrated approach combining strong promotion, commercial effectiveness, expanded air connectivity and greater appeal for the Kingdom’s various regions.”
