The Prefectural Committee for Human Development (CPDH) of Mohammedia approved 26 projects worth a total of nearly MAD 23.6 million at its 55th session on Monday, October 12, as part of the third phase of the National Initiative for Human Development (INDH), which places human capital at the center of its priorities.

Chaired by Mohammedia Governor Adil El Maliki, the session reviewed projects completed in the prefecture in 2025 and 2026 and examined and approved initiatives under the four programs of the INDH’s third phase, including efforts to address gaps in infrastructure and basic social services.

The other programs focus on supporting people in vulnerable situations, increasing income and promoting the economic inclusion of young people, as well as developing the human capital of younger generations.

Under the first program, which targets gaps in infrastructure and basic social services, one project was approved with a budget of nearly MAD 2.32 million. The second program, dedicated to supporting people in vulnerable situations, includes seven projects with a combined budget of MAD 6.4 million.

The program aimed at increasing income and promoting youth economic inclusion covers six projects worth MAD 6.24 million. The fourth program, focused on developing the human capital of younger generations, includes 12 projects with a budget of MAD 8.7 million.

Speaking on the sidelines of the meeting, Lamia Jbari, communications officer at the Mohammedia prefecture, stressed that the third phase of the INDH places particular importance on human capital development, which serves as the guiding principle behind its four programs.

Jbari also said that identifying the target population is a fundamental step in planning and implementing projects to ensure they better meet beneficiaries’ needs.
