Morocco is showcasing its expanding tourism offering at IFTM Top Resa in Paris, where the Moroccan National Tourist Office (ONMT) is presenting its destinations and strengthening ties with French and international tourism professionals from September 15 to 17.
For this year’s edition, Morocco has a 424-square-meter pavilion bringing together 38 public and private exhibitors. Airlines, institutional bodies, travel agencies, hotel groups and representatives from several Moroccan regions are presenting their offers and destinations to tourism professionals.
Royal Air Maroc and Air Arabia Maroc are among the exhibitors, alongside representatives from Fès-Meknès, Béni Mellal-Khénifra, Casablanca-Settat, Agadir-Souss-Massa and Marrakech-Safi.
Essaouira and Dakhla are receiving particular attention this year. Essaouira is showcasing its heritage, cultural identity and seaside tourism offering, while Dakhla is promoting water sports, international events and opportunities for business tourism.
The focus on connectivity comes as air capacity between France and Morocco continues to grow. In 2026, capacity between the two countries reached 6.36 million seats, up from 5.93 million in 2025. This represents a 7% increase, or nearly 427,000 additional seats.
The growth is also being driven by routes from regional French cities. Capacity to Morocco is up 16% from both Lyon and Toulouse, while Lille has recorded a 33% increase, Rennes 22% and Nantes 9%. Paris remains the main air gateway, accounting for more than half of total capacity, with an 8% increase.
The network will expand further during the 2026-2027 winter season with several new routes. Bastia will be connected to Casablanca, Bordeaux to Agadir and Nantes to Essaouira.
Strasbourg and Lille will also gain routes to Marrakech, while new connections are planned between Paris and Tétouan, Lille and Casablanca, Nantes and Tangier, Lyon and Fès, and Paris and Oujda.
The new routes will be operated by Air Corsica, easyJet, Royal Air Maroc, Transavia France and TUI Fly Belgium. They will add to a network linking several French cities with destinations across Morocco, extending beyond the main routes connecting Paris with the Kingdom’s major cities.
The expansion of the network is also a focus of discussions at IFTM Top Resa, bringing together airlines, tourism professionals and representatives of Moroccan destinations.
Over the three-day event, the Moroccan pavilion is hosting French and international industry players around the tourism offering of the Kingdom’s different regions.
France remains Morocco’s leading source market for tourists, making the Paris trade show one of the ONMT’s main meetings with professionals from the French market.
Air connectivity, destination promotion and partnerships with tourism industry players are central to the event.
